Terms & Conditions
The details about using Setfolk, optional Premium subscriptions, and your rights.
Last updated 16 October 2026
1. The agreement
These terms describe use of the Setfolk website and provide information about the Setfolk app. The iPhone app is licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), together with applicable App Store terms. These website terms do not replace that app license.
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@setfolk.com.
2. What Setfolk provides
Setfolk provides general fitness tools, including workout planning, exercise logging, food and calorie tracking, and progress views. Features may vary by app version and available device capabilities. The website describes the app and provides support and legal information.
App images on the website may show illustrative entries. They are not a promise of any particular fitness or health result.
3. Fitness and nutrition information
Setfolk is for general fitness and is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for qualified professional care. Exercise guidance, calorie targets, nutrition values, and estimates of energy use may be incomplete or inaccurate and may not be appropriate for every person.
Check with a qualified health professional before starting a new exercise program or changing how you eat, particularly if you are pregnant, injured, or managing a health condition. Choose exercises and loads appropriate to your abilities. Stop exercising if you experience pain, dizziness, or unusual shortness of breath.
You are responsible for reviewing your entries, checking equipment and surroundings, and using the app in a way that is appropriate for your circumstances.
5. Billing, renewal, and cancellation
Apple processes subscription purchases. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase or when an applicable free trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, subject to the terms displayed by Apple.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Removing the app or deleting local data does not cancel a subscription. Use Restore purchases in the app to restore an eligible purchase made with the same Apple Account.
Refund requests for Apple-billed purchases are handled through Apple, subject to applicable law. See Apple’s cancellation instructions and Apple’s purchase-support page. Ending Premium does not erase your workout or food logs.
6. Acceptable use and content
Use the website and app lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, or collect information about other users without permission.
The Setfolk website, branding, illustrations, and app content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws and licenses. Access does not grant permission to redistribute our artwork, exercise media, or software as your own. You retain rights to information and original content you enter; access and use of app content are also governed by Apple’s Standard EULA.
7. Your records and privacy
You are responsible for keeping any exports or backups you need. The current app stores workout and nutrition records locally, so we may not be able to recover them after deletion, device loss, or a device change. Export information you wish to preserve before erasing app data.
See the Privacy Policy for details about local data, network services, and support communications.
8. Availability and third-party services
We aim to provide a useful, reliable experience, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or that every feature will work on every device. Features that depend on Apple, Cloudflare, Open Food Facts, or an internet connection may be affected by those services.
We may improve or change the app and website. Where a change affects a paid subscription, your applicable purchase terms and statutory rights remain in effect.
9. Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, remedies, or liabilities that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. The app’s warranty and liability provisions are governed by Apple’s Standard EULA and applicable consumer-protection law.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms to reflect changes to Setfolk or applicable requirements. The updated date appears at the top of this page. Where required, we will provide notice of material changes.
