Your workout and food records stay in the current app on your iPhone. Website visits, support emails, purchases, and optional network features involve the services described below.

1. About this policy

This policy explains how Setfolk handles information in the Setfolk iPhone app and on setfolk.com. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@setfolk.com.

2. Information stored in the app

The current version of Setfolk stores your profile, workout plans, completed sessions, sets, personal records, weight entries, water entries, food logs, and step history locally on your iPhone. Setfolk does not require an account or operate a cloud database of these app records.

Your chosen profile photo is stored on your device. The app does not upload it to a profile service. Device-level backups and the services you choose when exporting files are governed by your device settings and the relevant provider.

The app does not contain advertising or third-party analytics SDKs, and we do not sell your personal information or use your app records for cross-app advertising.

3. Services the app connects to

Some features make internet requests:

  • Barcode lookup: when you scan or type a product barcode, the barcode is sent to Open Food Facts. The service also receives connection information such as your IP address. Your profile and full food diary are not included in that request. Searching the built-in food list works offline. See Open Food Facts’ privacy information.
  • Exercise media: exercise images and clips are downloaded from Setfolk’s media service on Cloudflare. Requests identify the requested media and include connection information such as your IP address. Downloaded media is cached on your device.
  • Purchases: Apple handles App Store subscriptions and payments. Setfolk uses purchase and subscription-status information to enable Premium. We do not receive your payment-card details. See Apple’s privacy information.

4. Device permissions

Setfolk requests permission when a feature needs it, such as motion access for step counting, camera access for barcode scanning or a profile photo, photo-library access for a selected picture, and notifications for reminders. You can review or revoke permissions in iPhone Settings.

Reminders are optional and are scheduled on your device. The camera is used when you open the relevant feature; Setfolk does not continuously record you.

5. Website and hosting

This website uses Cloudflare to deliver and protect its pages. Cloudflare may process technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time for service delivery, security, and reliability. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

We have not added advertising trackers, analytics scripts, a mailing-list form, or non-essential cookies to this website. External links, including links to Apple and Open Food Facts, take you to services with their own policies.

6. When you contact support

If you email support@setfolk.com, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. Our email providers process the message to deliver and store it. We use this information to answer your request, investigate issues, and provide support.

Only send information needed to explain the issue. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, or unnecessary health information. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, maintain necessary support records, and meet applicable legal obligations.

7. Your choices and deletion

You can edit your entries in the app. Use the data controls in Settings/Profile to export your records, reset progress, or erase local app data. Deleting the app removes its local data, subject to any backups you manage separately. We cannot recover app records that were stored only on your device.

To ask about access to, correction of, or deletion of support correspondence and other information we hold, email support@setfolk.com. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, request portability, or complain to your local data-protection authority. We respond as required by applicable law.

Deleting the app or its data does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage subscriptions separately in your Apple Account settings.

8. Children

Setfolk is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through support, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the app, website, or relevant requirements change. The date on this page identifies the latest revision. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.

Privacy contact: support@setfolk.com.
